Rev. Joel Tucker began as our Senior Pastor March 4, 2018. He and his wife Nancy are recently from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Joel served as associate pastor at Tropical Sands Christian Church beginning in 2001, and then was called to serve as senior pastor in 2006. Reared in Lanett, Alabama, Joel graduated from Auburn University with a degree in journalism. His post-graduate studies were at Lexington Theological Seminary. Joel was ordained in the Christian Church (DOC) in June 2017. Prior to entering the ministry, Pastor Joel worked as a writer, webmaster and a computer programmer. In music ministry, he plays saxophone, bass guitar, bass fiddle, ukulele, recorder, and ocarina.
