Samaritan Fund

Our Samaritan Fund is used to provide financial assistance to church members and persons in Effingham County who have emergency needs and no cash to meet them.

The church receives calls each day that the office is open.  Many suffer from reduced work hours, loss of work due to illness or injury, an unexpected auto repair or health care costs.

Our volunteers research the need and make an appropriate response.

You can be a part of the solution by contributing to the Samaritan Fund.  Donations are accepted at any time. In addition, monies collected during Sunday School on the first Sunday of each month are placed in this fund. Annually, an average of about $20,000 passes through this fund, all over and above our regular outreach.

We pray that we may continually answer the call, connecting needs and blessings.
